Trusting Some People Can Put A String On Your Relationship
Let me share a story about an experience I had with one of the saint in our church I met this saint a few years ago at the time I just started our ministry and it had been open for a few months, the church had be gain to really take off and things were looking very good, after a few years God spoke to me and advise me to release the ministry to this saint who over the pass years proved to a great asset to the ministry, after a weeks of hearing the voice of the Lord I obeyed his will and tried to release the church to this saint, but she refuse to except it and said she did not want anything to do with the old members of the ministry so I closed the ministry and started moving in the direction of the Holy Spirit, after a few months pass this saint advised me that she was starting her own ministry, I advised her to let me know if I could be of service in any way.
Working With Her Ministry
After a few weeks she be gain to call me for assistance from time to time I had no problem helping her with her new ministry, this went on for a few years as I continue moving in the direction of the Holy Spirit I must admit to you to the best of my knowledge when ever she would call for help I was there unless I was out of town and then I would try to plan her request on another date, this went on for some time, as the Holy Spirit would have it I soon be gain working with more church's and more of my time was being consumed up leaving less time to really spend with all the church's how ever I made it my business to try to assist her ministry when time would per mitt, as time would have it this saint would fine her self homeless with no place to stay so I took her in to my home never asking her for a cent, I also gave her a cell phone to use at a promise that she would make payments of $9.99 a month sad to say she payed about 3 or 4 payments but I did not take the cell phone back. as I realize it was a great way to keep in contact with her.
Fines Herself homeless With No Place To Stay
After a few years I received a phone call from this saint that they had loss their home and was staying at a hotel after praying about her saturation I spoke to my wife about what her problem we both agreed to invite her to live in our home at no charge we thought would help her save some money and get back on her feet. after we can to our agreement, we call her and made the offer and I'm glad to say she excepted our offer and moved in a few day later, I must say this was the second time we had taken some one into out home that was homeless, we felt great about until this day and would be glad to do it again. when she can she offered to pay one bill a month I refuse to take her money but she and my wife can to an agreement that she would pay the water bill which was about $25.00 to $40.00 a month and she be gain to make payments for a while until things got really bad for her and her unemployment ran out, by this time she had lived with us about a year and a few months so we took over the bill.
Needs A Place To Have Worship Service
In the mean time she advise me that she needed a place to have worship service so after praying about it God spoke to and said to let her us our basement for her service, I spoke to my wife about and I must admit she was not in agreement with this move of God so I waited until God spoke to me again this time he said tell your wife that this is my house and I can do with it what I want, after giving his message she agreed to let the saint have her worship services in our basement so now she lives with us and has her church services in our basement, a few went by and God Spoke to me about restarting our ministries so I did but instead of asking for our basement back we decided to have our services at a hotel in High Point NC this way it would interfere with her services in our basement, so she had a place to worship and so did we.
Growth In The Ministry
We started to see growth in our ministry not only that but God had given me favor with a few of the pastors in other towns and we be gain working with their ministry's things was beginning to up one morning on my way to church service I was trying to decide which church service I was going to and I heard the Holy Spirit speaking to me to go to another church in Winston Salem NC I had done a few crusade's there and we were also looking for a place of worship our self so I obeyed and went to the service saints it pays to obey the Holy Spirit, after I arrive I went into the pastor study and be gain speaking with the pastor and one thing lead to another and before I knew it we were talking about us his church for services on Sunday evenings I was so glad I obeyed the Holy Spirit, an I could not wait to get home to share the new with my wife after service that day, but as things in proved one part of our ministry they fell apart in the other ministry, the saint who we had done so much for was be coming up set about all the good news and be gain to complain about this and about that, every thing and everybody was a problem with her she started fining fault with every thing and everyone, so she started having out side ministry's come in and fellowship with her church I was so excited for her and her ministry because I started seeing growth in her church, mean it she was taking the advise of the men an women of God who she was fellow shipping with, an a lot of it was bad advise from people she had not known but for a short time.
She and The Ministry Did Not Have My Support Any More
One day as I was talking with her she said other pastors was advising her that she really did not have my support any longer and my be she should look for another pastor an or ministry for her covering, I advised her I understood her feeling but that was not the case, besides how could I not be supporting her and the ministry after all that we were doing so I played the comment off as if we never had it, but she would often bring it up again and again, after speaking with other people around her, some times I even wonder if they really knew all we were doing for her, I be gain to notice that she stop having service at out residence and started having them at her son's residence because my son found his self homeless and we invited him to return home I must admit this saint was not please with our diction and began to complain about the things he was doing in the basement and when she would complain I would address each matter with him, the thing she fail to realize was he was at home and she was our guess, so when I knew for sure she was having services I would may sure the basement was cleaned up so she could have service.
String on your Relationship
Now all this was bring great string on my relationship with my wife and my family but I was trying to be a blessing to one of the saints who did not appreciate it at all, but we try to over look that after her living with us about two years I decided it was time for everyone to start paying at less $50.00 a week rent including this saint who became very upset about our decision and felt that I should charge her because we invited her into our home now keep in mind we though she would be with us a few months, an this was what I shared with her one day in October I received a cell phone bill that was about $358.00 above normal so I contacted my cellular phone company to investigate the problem with the bill to fine out that this saint had use her cellular phone and gone our the mins she was allowed each month, she agreed to pay use back I'm still waiting for the first payment, I even allow her to keep the cell phone for 6 months before I decided to take it back after she told me she was going to get another cell phone but never said a work about paying anything on the bill she had created in October.
Miss Treading Of The Saint Of Her Ministry
About a week or so ago I had notice she had not been to any of our services so I invited her and her ministry to a service I was having, after not having the support from her ministry I wanted to see if she would except and she did come to the service that evening, while ministering I notice the broken spirit of a few of her saints but I decided to let it go that service all though I was troubled in my spirit about what I saw, few days later I came home from church service we had started a 21 day fast and I was sharing that with her, I advised her that once the fast was over I wanted to bring all the church together for the close out of the fast, but she advised me that her people did not want anything to do with ministry as she put it, she I ask her why was there a problem, then I said their not your people they belong to God their his people, at that point I stepped across the hall into my bed room but her comment trouble me all night so the next morning I be gain to pray and I called my mentor about our conversation the night before he advised me to speak with some of the saints regarding her comments, so I obeyed and place two phone calls and I heard about things going on n this ministry that was unbelievable how could anyone be so cruel to the people they say they loved, after hearing from both members of her church I called my mentor back to advise him of the matter at hand,
A Strong Rebuke
A strong rebuke was in order and I was advise by my mentor to bring it forth so that night I confronted her about the things I was hearing going on in her church and as her overseer I was not at all pleased, she denied it said it never happen and I did not know what I was talking about, after giving her a change to be honest about it and to repent to the saints for the way she had been treading them she refuse, an once again be gain talking about the like of my support to her ministry, at that point I rebuked her and told her that she would go back to the saints and apologize to them for the way she had treated them, but she still refuse so I told her she to repent or her ministry was over, about that time she began to try and bring up things about my wife who had nothing to do with the matter at hand and I rebuked her again for that, because she was so persisted in doing so, I loss my cool and gave her and even stronger rebuke, I then repented to her and God for getting so upset with her, but she was angry as well and decided to leave I told her she did not half to move she could stay but she had her mind made it, so she wanted to use her cell phone but she said she was going to call the saints and I would not per mitt her too I took the cell phone that belong to us any way, an she place her calls on the house phone she moved out the same night call my mentor the very next day as if I had done something wrong to her, I shared with her how she had betrayed our trust in her.
